Find Inspiration to write a song

There is a craft to songwriting but it doesn't start when you begin to compose. No work of art suddenly appears fully formed on a day of your choosing; even for experienced artists, the creation is an end result, the product of a creative process which began long before they set pen to paper, finger to string or brush to canvas.
